Product Information
Ramming mass refer to unshaped refractory materials that are constructed by ramming (manual or mechanical) and hardened under heating above normal temperature. It is made by mixing refractory aggregates, powders, binders, admixtures with a certain gradation and adding water or other liquids.
Classification By Material: High alumina, clay, magnesia, dolomite, zirconium and silicon carbide-carbon refractory ramming mass.
Classification By Material Type: Silica, corundum, magnesium, magnesia-calcium, magnesium-aluminum, magnesia-aluminum spinel and Al2O3~SiC~C dry vibrating materials.
Classification By Parts Used: Electric furnace bottom dry vibrating materials, power frequency melting trench dry vibrating materials and tundish working lining dry vibrating materials, etc.

Application
Ramming mass is used to fill the gap between the furnace cooling equipment and the masonry or the filling material for the masonry leveling layer. Ramming materials have good chemical stability, are resistant to erosion, abrasion, spalling, and thermal shock. They are widely used in metallurgy, building materials, non-ferrous metal smelting, chemical industry, machinery and other manufacturing industries!
Carbon Ramming Mass Application
According to different blast furnace types and different material design requirements, carbon ramming mass are mainly used in the gaps between the blast furnace bottom carbon bricks and the bottom sealing plate and between the hearth carbon bricks and the cooling staves, as well as the bottom water-cooling pipes. For leveling above the center line and filling of the cooling stave, all parts require that the carbon ramming material after ramming has a certain strength and density, filling every corner and small gap, so as to prevent leakage of molten iron and gas. requirements, and the thermal conductivity of the carbon ramming material must be basically consistent with the performance of the hot carbon bricks and cooling staves of the blast furnace, so as not to affect the life of the blast furnace and maintain normal production of the blast furnace.
